As well as the local community, the Hall is also used extensively by individuals and other organisations and is available for hire by anyone wishing to hold a private or charity function. It’s also ideal for celebrations – such as weddings, christenings or birthday parties – as well as classes, meetings etc. The Car Park, which has been recently upgraded, can reasonably accommodate 30 cars.
The building, which is centrally heated, is divided into:
- Main Hall with sprung dance floor and small stage - ideal for large functions with tables and chairs to seat up to 80 persons (44’ x 22', 13.5m x 20m).
- Small Hall – suitable for smaller gatherings, meetings, classes.
- Kitchen - range cooker, fridge, microwave, water boiler, crockery & cutlery.
- Toilet facilities, including disabled access.
Itton Village Hall is a Grade II-listed building designed by renowned architect Guy Dawber and given to the villagers in 1956 as a gift from the owners of Itton Estate, the Curre family.
